Hi I am really scared of what symptoms I am having. I have had lower left side pain in my ovary area for months now. I also have other symptoms such as bloating and change in my bowel habbit. Feeling really tired no energy at all. I can eat something and get so tired I have to take a nap. I went to my gynocologist a few weeks ago and she did a pelvic exam and said she felt something on my left ovary, like there was something there and didn't know what. I can actually feel something my self. she also said that it is possible that it could be in the groin and not the ovary. She sent me for a cbc and my wbc was elevated and some other wbc aslo and my rbc was really low.
I do know for alomst a year now that has been my blood work. I told her that I have had these on going symptoms such as the bloating for a very long time. I always end up at my gasto doctor and he tells me everything is fine and he did do a colonscopy wich came back good.

I am concered because she told me not to worry and if things get worse to give her a call. Well something is telling me that she should have done more test such as an pelvic ultra sound becuase I do have a history of ovarian cyst.

One more concern that I have is the tiny red dots on my breast, arms, hands and upper stomach. They are like red blood dots. Not sure if this is normal or not.

So one day I just decide to call a new gynocologist to get a second apinion and she said I didn't need a ultra sound that I needed to a cancer specialist so she set me up with an app at this cancer center and they said they needed to do a bone marrow biopsy. So there I was scared to death not know what is going on and the next thing I know the bone marrow biopsy is being started.

I am needing to know why the bone marrow biopsy was performed if there is a problem with the ovary. everytime I look up bone marrow biopsy everything comes to leukemia... I AM REALLY SCARED

has anyone gone through this before

I do have a question. Why did the 2nd doctor automatically send you to a cancer doctor? Did she look over all your tests, etc and have a sit down talk with you? I would specifically ask the doctor why she thinks it might be cancer and explain everything to you in detail. They should just not send you to a cancer specialist without at least explaining some things. If the gyno will not answer your questions, perhaps ask for a sit down with the cancer specialist and have them explain everything. Tell them you are scared and you want to know what the heck is going on.

I wish I could help you more but please know you are in my thoughts and prayers.

Hi,
I have no answers for you - but I agree with Terry call the Cancer Specialist and find out why they sent you for a bone marrow test. Not knowing what's going on is often the worst part... I'll keep you in my prayers.
Good luck
Jennifer
