Hello,
I have been on Yaz now for 5 months now, and I really like it. At first it took my body time to adjust and I thought I wouldn't be able to continue, but luckily I have minimal side effects now. So for those of you just starting bc, make sure you wait at least 3 months for the side effects to lessen.
Yaz has helped with weight loss too! Never has birth control done that for me!
Okay, now my question which is unrelated to the above. Is it safe to have sex while on your period, if taking birth control pills? I always make my boyfriend wear a condom during my period "just incase". But perhaps I'm being too cautious. During your placebo pills is it safe?
Thanks! T
