OOOHH this is awful...I'm at 18 hours. Any advice??? Geez this is hard. I smoked for 20 years.

cold turkey - you? I have some wellbutrin but really wanted to do it without any drugs.

Susan try not to count the hours I know it's so very hard. I smoked for 20+ years you can do it. The good part is that soon you'll be so very impressed with yourself then you'll start to notice some changes that were unexpected for me out of nowhere the bags under my eyes went away, now I'm noticing the wrinkles on my forehead are a little less noticable, Instant face lift and it didn't cost a thing!!!!!!;)

Thanks - I'm still going strong. The mornings are very difficult (Oh - who am I kidding - ALL DAY is difficult). Any way thanks for your encouragement. I like this message board because I get to write down my thoughts as they come....and usually someone responds.

Hi Susan,
I think you are doing great......

We need to write a list of all positives of NOT smoking....
to reinforce our "stop smoking" lifestyle.

1. Health...YES, for that !!....
2. No baggy eyes...(love THAT)....:)
3. no sinus problems/issues
4. more energy...(is that true?..I don't know..anyone??)


Lets add more to the list.....'

5. smell and taste improved.
6. Setting good example for my children.
7. Proving to myself that I can do anything.
8. Saving lots of $$$.
9. Creating more time to enjoy life instead of sneaking a smoke.
