Hi Strawberry !!!

I've BenGone a long time, again...

Just went to the library (my home computer gets SO clogged with adware and all that it sucks worse than a gravity warp field)...

Just read your replies elsewhere, and realized you're NOT getting to do the amount of communications that you did before...

Is everything going OK ???

You mentioned the fitness testing coming up...

May the GOOD force be with you !!!

Hi Ben, been a long time, sorry. Yes, they kicked us out of our work space! can you believe it?
Well I am at MWR trying to say hi. I was able to get a walking profile for the PT test. Still should work on sit ups and push ups. I got in trouble for going to the medics without permission. I did that because I suspected permission would be denied. Oh well, at least I won't suffer too much now.
I am really feeling soo tired, and worn out. The heat is probably to blame. Aabout 116 to 119 here. Not too bad, but it gets to you.
Still hanging in there. A little over a month left!!!:blob_fire
Hope you are doing well, I see your computer has hiccups, but you seem in good spirits. I missed you, and Angel, Goody and Coffe girl, you guys have been so good to me, and propped me up when I was not able to stand alone.
Well gotta get back to work. I'll try to sneak off to the MWR more often.Bye for now.
Nice to hear from you again

Let's see if memory serves me (not my strong suit, these days)...

Morale, Welfare and Recreation = MWR ???

I guess if that's correct, then not everything has changed over the decades...

The temperatures you're surviving remind me of Phoenix. I still cannot understand why my daughter chooses to live there. But in YOUR case - the patrols are NOT in air conditioned surroundings (I'll bet) so WOW !!!

My first ex-wife is a letter-carrier in the Phoenix area - and sweats off ALL excess weight. She once bought a hat with two Gatorade plastic tubes - which fed from a gallon backpack !!! Of course, that MIGHT NOT be considered part of the " uniform of the day "...

If you're on a MWR computer ~ do you have to use only limited time ? Just curious. The library only allows 30 minutes !!!

The latest of my own adventures involves getting some Endoscopy tests and biopsies, that confirmed NO cancer but SOME other "conditions". The net upshot of all that was my immediate total withdrawal from ALL coffee and ALL Pepsi (diet or otherwise).

Such "cold-turkey" withdrawal (from my mass-quantity intake) was a true test of bipolar self-restraint. For three days, I had marathon migraines AND tried to play volleyball on two of those days. I was unpleasant and uncoordinated, at best !!! Just emailed an apology to the "group"...

One of the findings involved blood backing-up from my liver. OOPS. I can only wonder IF the overdoses of depakote might be a factor (from times gone by)... I'll be scheduled for an ultrasound of the liver, sometime in September...

Meanwhile, my fabulous HMO refused to pay for the Endoscopy ~ and that same doctor will be probing my anal orifice (and colon) this Friday - so I hope he has a sense of humor  !!!

I hope you maintain whatever "cool" is available, and STAY HYDRATED !!!

~ Ben (gettin' ready for the big COLO-procedure)... :D

Hi Ben, I had the weekend off!!! I am still a bit worn out, but good. Yes, we are airconditioned inside the vehicle, but we need to come out onc in a while.
I'm glad you are getting over the diet sodas. Me, I love coffee, and have only one cup a day now. But I do have tea during the day. We drink a lot of water here. Can you believe we drink the water (treated of course) from the Tigris river? Never in my life did I ever imagine such a thing, it's amazing.
Sorry to hear about all your uncomfortable tests, I hope they go well, and you can get the medical help you need to get better.
I am stressing out about leaving, I hate moving, and it stresses me out so much.
There's so much to do, so much to pack and coordinate. I don't know how I will keep it together, but I'm hanging in there. I am tempted to let the doctor raise my med dosage so I can deal, but that would be a crutch. I may not really need it, I need to learn to relax, and take things in a slower manner. I am sure that when we get home, the meds will work just fine.
I am just to nervous right now.
Well, gotta get back to work,
B-Back later.
Strawberry:D
PS I invited a friend to this board, since you guys have been so good to me, I figured she could use some support also. Hope she'll get here soon.
Bye
