I'm so sorry for your loss. I lost my grama in 1983 and I still think of her every day. Grandmothers are such special people. I know it sounds cliche, but it really is true, she will always be alive in your heart.

rosequartz.....thanks for the reply...my grandmother was in alot of pain at the end and it broke my heart to see her like that and it brakes my heart to lose her..I wish I could have her back without the pain she was going through..but I do know she is in a better place and I'll see her again one day

Grandparents are just so special aren't they? All four of my grandparents had died before I was out of high school, and to this day I seek out older people to care about, do something special for - especially if I know they don't have grandchildren of their own.

One of my grandma's has always been my Guardian Angel... She was close to me as a little girl and closer to me still after all these years without her here in person.

One of my Grandma's used to fix us sugar sandwiches! Homemade white bread with real butter sprinkled with lots of sugar.
One of my Grandpa's knew Jimmy Durante during the vaudeville days and owned a theatre where my mom & aunt tapdanced on stage between acts!

Do you have a special story about your Grandma??

my uncle told me that people would call wanting money for diff things to help others and my grandmother always would give money to help others ..she lived on a fixed income and she would go without to help others in need she was such a wonderful woman she would give every penny she had to help others.....when we had dinners at her house she made sure everyone got enough and if you keeped your glass of tea ect down somewhere when you went back to get it,it would be gone if it wasn't glued she took it and cleaned it
