I am going to be having jaw surgery in about a year and I also want to have breast augmentation surgery.. Is this something can be done at the same time? Any advise or thoughts would be great.

Do you mean orthognathic surgerY AKA chin augmentation? I think it depends on where they are breaking the jaw. If its near the ear, it may be a longer surgery than if they break it near the chin. I had the chin augmentation done with rhinoplasty and it took about 4-5 hours but I only had my chin moved not the enitre lower jaw. It also depends on your health - how much anesthesia the surgeon determines your body can tolerate, as well as whether the surgeon thinks he can do both within a certain amount of time. Keep in mind when you combine procedures, while it reduces the number of times you are anesthetized, it limits the amount of time the surgeon has to focus on each procedure. You really need to ask the surgeon what his recommendation would be.
