I would like an opinion and some help please.

A year ago, I noticed couple of blisters on my pubic area above the penis. It starts with a tingle or itch, then I scratch it and then couple of hours later area becomes red then develops into very little blisters. Blisters grow, turn yellow, and then gradually disappear within one week maximum. No pain at all. I do not even notice them unless I look. No other symptoms accompany them. No fever, no pain or whatsoever. They once appear as one blister on the shaft..

Then reoccur again.. itch, scratch, blisters, etc. They come back again after one to two months.

I have gone to the doctor and tested me twice for herpes and results always come negative, but he still thinks it is herpes from they way it looks.

He gave me Famvir for 5 days but never helped. On the next visit he gave me Valtarex for 5 days and no help either. The outbreaks continue regardless of my medications.

I am so confused and do not know what to do… could this be something other then herpes? If so, what? I am so confused and frustrated..

I am not sexually active at all. Last year my wife was diagnosed with Gardenella Vaginitis and she got treatment. Could this be bacteria?

Please help because I really do not know what else I can do..
