Hi Everyone,
I am a student who is studying to be an aged care worker. We were asked in class to do a presentation about dementia. I found that most students were going to discuss the negatives associated with dementia. I thought it would be interesting to discuss funny stories about living with someone who has dementia. So if anyone has some funny stories that they would like to share i would really appreciate it :D

There is another thread around here with some funny stories .. I'll find it and bump it up for you ...
Where are you? I'm in Queensland !! (Was in New South Wales)
Funny stories ARE hard to find .. because the negative overwhelm us, but there are some cute ones around ..
Like the time I got given this HUGE bear hug from an AD man .. now I'm no small fry, believe me .. and he decided he liked me and wanted a cuddle .. now I'm not averse to cuddles from anybody, but when I am dangling in the air, with the breath being knocked out of me, saying "Put the nice person DOWN please" ... and having another staff member in fits of gigles while said AD victime says "NO MINE" quite forcefully .. well, it painted a funny picture, he liked me, he wanted me, he was keeping me ..
YIKES !! LOL LOL LOL
(PS: I broke free eventually, chocolate biscuits CAN fix anything)
