I'm having a really rough time right now, and it just seems to be getting worse. I've got a counseling appt in 2 weeks, but it's a first appt, so nothing will really be done. I'm not in danger and no one else is, I'm just... freakin out, I guess. I have a decent job and lots of responsibilities, and am afraid of jeopardizing that. Any advice would be helpful.

Hi, Arthur:wave: Read your last post about your beautiful children. Sounds like you have a busy household and take in the blessings. However, your children need their daddy to take care of himself. Two weeks seems like an awful long time to wait. As you know stress can take a toll on you and it's only going to get worse until you are able to have a way to manage it.

I am guessing that you ar BP and by the looks of things you have your plate pretty full right now with a new baby and 4 others under the age of 5. Are you on any meds??? It is important that you get good sleep and eat well and take care of yourself. I would also see if there is anyway you can get into counseling before the 2 weeks. Is there a clinic nearby that can accommodate you??? And also it might be a good idea to put in a call to your pdoc.

Hang in there and feel free to come here for support. Remember that your kids need you to take care of yourself so that you can in turn take care of them.

(((((HUGS))))))) ~ Goody:angel:
