Hi Holly

You have some of the words spelled incorrectly which may be why you can't find any information if you've been looking on the web.

The correct spellings are "High Grade Intraepithelial dysplasia" and it means that your pap smear has showed up changes to the cells on your cervix. It doesn't mean you have cancer.

The colposcopy is an examination to allow the doctor to look at the cells after they have been magnified many times. The biopsy will determine whether you need any treatment and which treatment you will need.

The colposcopy and biopsy are not very pleasant but they are over and done with in a few minutes.

Good Luck.
