Hi,
Last tuesday I had a six point facet injection and I tolerated the procedure well but since I've suffered the following: Constant dry mouth, my tounge feels like it is somewhat swallon, everything I tast is bitter, and my mouth feels like it is coated with a chaulky substance and finally I feel a bit dizzy, tired and nassauated  (sic).
Thank you.

Hmmm,, I didn't experience that. Maybe it's your meds ???
I have never had a response like that. I have had about10-15 injections. If it were me i would call the doc and explain your symptoms maybe he can tell you something. You could be allergic to some of the medicine they used during the injection. Either way you need to ask the docs opinion. Good luck.

Apparently this is normal reaction and if they get worse to go in for a check up but after I slept for a few hours it seems to be better today. Thanks for the replies.

Have the facet injections helped you? I think this is my next step. They have injected everywhere else with no luck. I am in agony when I sit, even though I have a 37 mcg fentynal pain patch that I wear. I do pretty well other than sitting. What were your symptoms that required the facet injections? Any thoughts?

are facet injections the same as trigger point injections?
