I returned from a summer [Removed]. When I returned to my job to my surprise the windows in the whole school had been replaced. No problem there except they took the air conditioner out of my office and didnt replace it. THe whole school is not air conditioned just his office and the secretaries office. My principle tells me they wont replace it because it will cost them $6.ooo.oo to replace it (its a big window with 2 sides and only opens about a half an inch). Todday was hot and my office was terrible. Do I have any rights under anything. He basiclly blew me off and I went home crying. Nice guy huh?

I'm not sure that you have any specific right to air conditioning. Especially if most of the building does not have it. You mention ADA. If you have a specific disability which requires air conditioning, you could pursue that, but you don't mention any specific reason that you need the a/c except that it is hot. And, as much as it pains us, being miserable in the heat is not a disability.
