Hello everyone, I have a daughter in law of two years who is bipolar 1. She and my son have a beautiful 2 year old daughter. My daughter in law is currently taking 4 or 5 different meds and she is still having alot of problems. She has the most horrible nightmares imagineable and does not get enough sleep. Then 4 days ago, she started having seizures with loss of conscieness. We are all so frightened. She has to go next week for an eeg, a brain scan and a MRI. One of her doctors thinks this may be caused by one of her meds and her psychiatrist says no that is not the case. Has anyone out there had any problem with seizures or loss of conscieness. It is only for 1 or 2 minutes but it is real scary for all of us, especially her. My son needs to work and they live over 2 hours ago from me so it is hard to be there for them plus I have to work also. If my son loses his job, how would they ever afford her medication. Please I sure could use some advice as to what to tell them or how to help them. Thanks and blessings to all who respond. I just do not know who to turn to.
