so....., when on certain medications, does anyone's libido decrease, or do any of you turn asexual? A lot of the reason I'm on med-hiatus is to test whether I actually can maintain a steady sex drive. It seems like while I'm on medication, absolutely no one expresses interest in me, and I have not an inkling of interest either.

While I was on Paxil at the higher doses my sex drive was nonexistant. I know it was the paxil because one of the problems I normally have is and over active libido and since going off the paxil my libido is slowly coming back. I know there are a number of meds that affect people that way so if its a problem talk to your Pdoc.

On my mix of meds - Prozac, Wellbutrin, Topamax, Geodon, and Zyprexa - I could really care less about sex. Before I was medicated, I was just the opposite, it was all I could think about. I don't know which med is doing this to me, but I suspect Zyprexa or Prozac. I was fine with being asexual, but my wife thought I had lost interest in her. It's the meds, I told her. She is mad because without meds I'm a complete mess but with meds I am asexual. I think she's losing patience.
