While gathering my medical records to have my VA rating re-evaluated, I came across one from 1997. In it, the DO I was seeing had written on every visit a dx of cervical and dorsal myositis. Yet had never said any thing to me. I can only think he was referring to this as the temporary type, more along the lines of myalgia. Fwiw though, the same areas and more have continued to be and are still a problem.

Make any sense?
