Just curious if anyone had his/her first episode of depression (and/or mania) after having mono (usually in jr/sr. high). Thank you.

Yes, absolutely. I had a very severe case of mono which lasted for months. When it finally let up, I was so depressed I couldn't do anything. That's when I was first taken to the pdoc for antidepressants. I'm pretty sure the mono caused my depression, physically. Then when I went manic from the antidepressants they figured I was bipolar.
