Hi to all of you, I have been lurking here and there and I seem to notice that a lot of you suffer with depression.
I do to.

This is only a suggestion , maybe it's something you have tried or not tried.

I am currently reading Depression Free Naturally by Joan Mathews Larson. There is a chapter titled "That Sadness Inside You" on page 171 she discusses Bipolar disorder and biochemical abnormalities.
In this section of the book there are 2 formulas that are vitamin based, one if for folks on lithium and the other is for folks who are not.

I will be happy to discuss with anyone more in depth, or better yet get this book.

I currently am taking the Balanced Emotions Basic Formula, I did leave out a couple of the vitamins that are in the list, but I honestly have to say I have noticed a difference.

I have each and every one of you in my prayers.
Take care :)

Good Morning Heidi
Good Morning Rhonda
Your Welcome. I thought that maybe this is an avenue that has not been tried and maybe it will help.

Rhonda, thanks for wishing me well, I am dealing with a couple of things healthwise, but hopefully once off of this antibiotic, I will be back to normal.

I wish you both and all who stop by a GOOD DAY :)

Take care

i will try and get hold of the book then if you are not supposed to combine certain things.cos i was going to try lecithin as well. i am a bit scared of taking all that vit b6 cos once i took so much it made me legs go numb. honest! but its a side effect that goes when you cut back on the dose.so i will build up slowly on that one. taurines a new one i never heard of.great. thanks.

Cheers to you I
This book is pretty eye opening, I have learned some things I would have never thought of. If you run a search on her or even go to amazon and run a search on the title, you can see that she has another book out on sobriety. Which I'm only saying cause it may come up on the search as well.

I had a dentist appointment this morning and now the novacane is starting to wear off, I hvae to have some major work done (again)it doesn't last forever DURN IT!

So I tell me where are you in England?

Rhonda, get the acidophilus now, you can take it all the time, stupid me stopped a few months ago and never should have, I have mine on order right now.

Ya'll have a good day :)

Morning I
Why won't there be time to tell the Doc the whole story, your paying him for his time. I hope it goes well for you.
The dental work I had done about 20 years ago is/has aged and not holding up anymore. I inherited cruddy teeth from both of my parents, so I get to deal with this again.

No ranch here, we are on 5 acres and have horses, when I think of ranch I think of at least 100 or more acres.
That is my dream, to be in the middle of a hundred acres surrouned by cattle and horses, just me and the hubby, and my son when he comes to visit. Maybe one of these days :)

Love and Fear ? Sounds a little out there to me http://www.healthboards.com/ubb/rolleyes.gif

Lemme' know how it goes at the Doc.

Tex
P.S. What things have I learned that I never would have thought of???
I guess the first thing that comes to mind is I can't fix everything for everybody ( Co-Dependant)I sure used to try and do that!
I have learned to accept people for the way they are, doesn't mean I have to like them or agree with them, just accept that they have different ideas or opinions.

It dawned on me a few years ago that life is to short and I don't have to settle for anything (like I was doing)

What about you? What things have you learned?

Hi I
Forgive my ignorance ok? what is blagged?

You say you do the opposite, of all those things?

So you have expectations, you trust everybody and you do all the wrong things??? C'mon I, you don't sound like that at all.

Do you ever go with what your gut tells you?

eeh by gum??

hi tex, eeh by gum is northern slang and so is blagged . blagged means sort of talked but in a way that kinda is too much so you give up.
the other stuff is about me always making the same mistakes with men!!!! never ever again tho'!!
eeh by gum!
( that sort of is a jolly way of saying well i never or fancy that :) ) cheers and hope you are ok.

I
Thanks, I figured some kind of slang, but I thought maybe the Doc gave you a hard time. Now I gotcha :)

I know what you mean about doing that stuff with men, it's easy to have expectations, I try not to too, and I seemed to get burned everytime.

As far as trusting...I am a very trusting soul, not always good, but I have learned to go with what my gut tells me, that works well for me.

Cheers to you :)
Take care

Depression free naturally. What a great book. My girlfriend just got off her meds. She went through hell for 4 or 5 days. You should see her now though- a different person.I have never seen her so healthy. I feed her a lot of amino acids. vitamins, minerals and omega oil every day.She is fine now , as long as she stays away from the liquor.(Just like anyone). I did a lot of research on the internet as well as Joan Larsons book to find out the right amino acids, vitamins and minerals. This has changed our lives. We are both so happy now!

#1Texan, would it be hard to post the formula for those on lithium?

I'm in a depressive/anxious state right now and I don't think I'll get to a book store for awhile.

Thank you!!!!
