Since there are so many new people on the boards, I thought it would be nice to start a thread on our IF history. Then the new people can see what we have been through and if their situation matches any of ours. Besides, our stories get lost in thread after thread~ it will be nice to have it in one spot. Ladies with BFP's please respond as well, be sure to put in you BFP date!!
I'll start....
Age: 28 DH 29
TTC - 11 years together, 3 years trying, 1 1/2 years with help - Never used con*****tives
IF cause - Unknown
HSG - Clear, no problems
OB/GYN diagnosed PCOS, RE said I didn't have it (who to believe)
Clomid for 1 year, no monitoring - no luck
July 31st - 1st IUI with injections ( Gonal F, Ovudrel) BFN
August - Taking a break from Injections and the RE, trying naturally
September - 2nd IUI with injections (Gonal F) BFN
October - Took off - remaining cysts from cycle before
December - 3rd IUI with injections (Follistim)BFN
Thinking about IVF, will most likely take a break for a few months. We can't afford IVF yet. I might try one more round of IUI's.
Baby dust to all that are desperately waiting their BFP. To those with BFP's - Best wishes and healthy pregnancies.

Great idea!
me: 38; DH: 38
started TTC -- Jan. 2001
Was getting ready to commit to treatment when BFP came in late 2002 after trying naturally (for 1 yr, 9 mos).
DS born 2003.
Started TTC again Jan 2004.
BFP at end of 2004 but MC Dec 04.
Kept TTC and finally went back to RE Jan 2006. Diagnosed with MF IF.
3 IUIs with injectibles (Gonal-F) -- 1st one was a chem preg, others BFN.
1st IVF cycle (with ICSI) started Aug 2006 -- but cancelled due to poor response. (Ovaries too suppressed.)
2nd IVF cycle with ICSI and new protocol (antagon) completed Nov 2006 -- 3 day transfer -- BFN.
3rd IVF cycle completed Dec 2006 -- yet another protocol w/ no BCPs. Tried to "squeeze" this last cycle in before the end of the year due to insurance concerns. 5 day transfer -- Finally, BFP!!!! Music to my ears!
Baby dust to all of you -- you've inspired and supported me so much through this incredibly difficult process. I wouldn't have been able to survive it without you -- truly! You all are the best!

Great idea - I have such a hard time keeping track of everybody's stories:dizzy: ;) .
Here is our history:
Not married, but been together off and on since highschool, 11 years total, 5 years straight...both 27 yrs old
TTC 3 yrs 3 1/2 mos = 0 children
His SA came back with low count and low motility
My lap showed stage 1 endo and one severely blocked tube - other tube is missing from tubal pregnancy (not with current partner, he has never gotten anybody pregnant)
No treatments so far - my first appt with RE is tomorrow (so excited :D ), where we will discuss unblocking my tube and other things...

Super great idea!
Me: 31 DH: 36 - No children, Never been pregnant
Together 13.5 years married 2 years, TTC 2 years
I've known since I was 14 that I had endo and possibly PCOS - tried 6 months on our own and then sought help from OB/GYN.
March-August 2005 - 3 Cycles of IUI with Clomid with HCG trigger - all BFN
Lap in September of '05 OB said he saw nothing that would inhibit pregnancy
Referred to an RE in October '05
November '05 - IUI with Repronex and HCG trigger - BFN
RE told us we needed to move on to IVF - not ready for that - want to try to fix whatever is keeping us from getting pregnant.
Appt with new specialist in April '06
Hormone and U/S testing in June '06 - came back fairly normal.
Lap in July '06 - Found severe endo, PCOS, Ovaries 3X the size they should be, left ovary adhered to uterine wall.
Scheduled for Surgery December '06 to fix above "conditions" - given a 60-70% chance to conceive using Pergynal or Repronex after all is said and done!! :D
Dream to hear the heartbeat of our unborn child!!! Baby dust and prayers to all TTC with IF!!

Great Idea...Here's my Story
Age: 31, DH 32
TTC 3 years
1 year on our own- no success. Have really weird period cycles
1 1/2 year with OB/GYN- Diagnosed w/ PCOS. Put me on Metformin and Clomid (not monitered). Got pregnant in January of 2005, but MC at 8weeks.
1/2 year with RE- HSG was normal, and so was DH's SA (or above normal as he likes to remind me ;) ). RE suggested a combination of Metformin, Clomid and the HCG Trigger shot. Second round worked and....
...BFP in June 2006!!! I am now 17 weeks and everything is going great.
I wish you all the best and lots of baby dust to everyone struggling with this battle:angel:

Me-35 DH-36
ttc about 3yrs
Married for 12 years never used any contraceptives
Diagnosis - so far unexplained - dh has had borderline low morphology and borderline low count but recently count and morph. were both great (done this month for iui)!
hcg- normal
laproscopy-normal
the only test that was not good or great was post-coital, showed fewer than expected sperm present in cervical mucus (this test was done by my gyno and not my RE)
8/06 - 1st IUI on Aug. 10th af came early on aug. 22nd
9/06 - will have to ttc naturally this month was out of town when a/f came so couldn't start follistim on day 3.
10/06 - hopefully try 2nd iui this month, job will take me out of town on 17th so my body will have to cooperate! :)
Our budge will only allow about 3 iui and maybe one ivf after that, so like I said to my dh yesterday, we will either be pg or broke by the end of the year...or both :)

I am 31 (will be 32 in a month) and DH is 33. Dx with slight MF IF vs. unexplained IF.
Got married in Feb 2004 (in Mexico) and TTC ever since then. Got of BCP a few months prior so that we could start a family right away.
In 2/05 started our IF workup after 1yr of TTC. Had a hysterosalpingogram, endometrial bx, ureaplasm cx done and DH had a SA done. All of my tests normal, DH's SA showed low count, poor morphology and and motility. Repeat SA's done showing same.
12/05 we had our first visit with our RE. Had lots of blood work showing normal hormones and confirmed LH surge. US confirmed good ovulation.
1/06 IUI #1
3/06 IUI #2
4/06 Decided to go for the big guns and do IVF. Started BCP and had sonohysterogram/trial transfer in 5/06 and lupron/bravelle and menopur in 6/06. OK response. Had 7 eggs retrieved, DH w/ very low motility. ICSI on all 7. 1 immature egg, 6 injected and 4 fertilized. Transferred 2 and got a BFN.
In 7/06 did a natural FET. Transferred our 2 frozen snowbabies and got another BFN.
Will start BCP in 9/06 will next AF to start IVF #2.

Hey there -
I noticed this thread was falling behind, and that there are still some new people with stories to be heard. Please post your info here if you haven't done so already. When somebody gets their BFP, I like to go back and see what steps they had to get the BFP. This just keeps it in one simple spot. As for me, I should be getting AF anyday now - I think my body is playing with me, I was supposed to get it on Friday. I already spent the $900 for my next cycle.
Take care and loads of babydust.

I am new, this is my first post. Please forgive me for not knowing all the abbreviations yet. I am 28, as well as my hubby. We have been married for 10 yrs, grew up together. We decide to wait on having children until we were "ready", not knowing what kind of problems I would have. So far, I have had one fetal demise, which was from a HUGE septate, or wall in my uterus. It cut off the blood supply to my baby. I had a D & C, which resulted in endometreitis, had to have IV's, sent home with meds. I started seeing a fertility specialist. I had the HSG, it was fine, except for the sepate. After that, I had a Laparoscopy/Hysteroscopy which was for multiple cysts on my ovaries, and stage 4 endometriosis. (I have had probs w/ cysts for a long time, but so do a lot of people, right?) Well, I had one rupture, very painful! Anyways, my surgery was successful. He was able to remove my septate, which, in fact, extended all the way to my cervix. So, I got pregant again, but this time, I miscarried. My hormone levels plummeted even with the added progesterone. So, now my Dr. wants to try Clomid with Novarel injections. This has gone on over the past few years, and I am very scared. I have had so many up and down days, and I am just excited to find a support group. I wish I could've found you sooner!

Thank you so much! I really feel like family already. It's so hard because there is only so much our "friends" can do for us, and I know our husbands get worn down, also. But it's on OUR minds ALL the time. I appreciate your welcome, and your support. We are all holding hands trying to accomplish the same things......my prayers and hopes for all.....

I have spent the last 8 years trying NOT to get pregnant. My husband has a genetic disorder (osteogenesis imperfecta...brittle bone disease) that has a 50% risk of being passed on. Not a risk we're willing to take. After years of discussion, we have decided on donor IUI. BUT...
July was to be my first cycle. B/W was fine, but he performed an HSG (because donor IUI is costly) and discovered that I had an intracavitary tumor. It was removed Aug. 2 through hysteroscopic resection, and pathology says it might have been a fibroid or an adenomyoma or both...and attached like a polyp. I had a follow-up hysteroscopy and was given the all clear...a "perfect uterus" according to the surgeon. SOOO...
FINALLY, I am slated for my IUI with my next cycle...which should be starting on 9-19. I will be doing clomid days 5-9, have an ultrasound to determine when I trigger, then an IUI sometime after that. Hopefully I prove to be as fertile now as I was when I got pregnant with my daughter (previous relationship), because this process is expensive!

Age: me 28 dh 27
TTC: since 10/05
Little bit of a long story on how we got here, but here goes:
7/05-10/05 no Af
10/05 went to OBCGYN b/c I was getting worried b/c we were thinking about starting a family and AF has a lot do with that. She started me on progesterone, turns out I was not ovulating. Did clomid for two cycles with no luck. Started metformin along with the clomid for 3 cycles, finally ovulated, but still no luck.
5/06 Referred to RE
6/06 1st SA comes back, not promising, low numbers (8 mil) RE puts dh on clomid, vitimins and dh tries to quite smoking (which is going very well), she also referred him to a urologist
8/06 HSG, clear no problems
9/20/06 1st IUI with clomid, 2nd SA comes back worse than the 1st, only 2 mil, 20% motility and high morphology.
I'm pretty excited about the IUI, but really disappointed with the SA

5/06-lap/HSG-endometriosis was back, HSG was clear
6/06-started back on Clomid-developed 2 cysts on right ovary measuring over 10cm-one had already burst!!(talking about pain!!)
So we were back to square one and had to wait until the cysts disappeared.
8/06-one more round of Clomid-experienced bad side effects-possible rupture of another cyst-sonogram showed fluid, but follicle was not as big as the last ones.
9/06-finally met with RE. Started follistim last Sunday-went in yesterday for day 7 sonogram and estradiol level. I had several large follicles, nurse was astounded by the number of follicles. My estradiol levels were extremely high, the nurse said my levels "were like a runaway freight train." They cancelled the IUI for this month.
I know many of you have been through more than us, however, the feelings of frustration and failure are overwhelming. Good luck to all of you in this next month of your cycle. God has a time and purpose for each of us!!

What a great idea - here goes ;)
I recieved my last Depo shot some time in January 2004 and in March 2004 we (myself and Eliot) decided that we should grow up and start a family, little did i know of the problems we may encounter along the way.
After lots of blood tests and examinations, scans, Hsg, semen analysis and Norethisterone (to induce AF) the clinic decided to carry out a Laparoscopy to find out what the problem was, well all is well in that department so i was put on Clomifene Citrate (Clomid) for 9 months (having 2 blood tests a month) and because i did not fall pregnant they then referred me to a fertility specialist in Cheltenham.
On my first consultation the specialist explained that i was in a category known as Unexplained Infertility and that i was to try natrally for 4 more months and if noting then i would go onto the IVF waiting list.
Well you guessed it, nothing so far, so we are now on the waiting list, just awaiting a date to come through the post for our first appointment, DH has his first appointment on Tues and i have filled in all the paper work so they recon My/Our first consultation will be in approximately 4weeks.
Its been a rollercoaster ride i can assure you, lots of tears, many a time have i poas to find a bfn but i get stronger every day and learn to deal with these negatives, i have a great husband who supports me and he truely is my pillar of strength.
Me - 30
DH - 33
TTC #1 since March 04 (i think)
Now on IVF waiting List - but not long to go :)
Sorry its so long, ill make it shorter next time!

Hi ladies just to say there is light at the end of the tunnel even though it may not always seem that way. A lot of my friends have overcome ivf, imfertility etc to get that long awaited bfp.
As for me,
well im 29, dh 34. We came off depo nearly 3 years ago.
Took 9 months to get AF back.
Had 4 miscarriages along the way.
I have cervical fluid issues, progesterone issues, short luteal phase issues, and poly cystic ovary syndrome, firstly i was told by drs i would never get pregnant, and then with the reoccurant miscarriages i was told in the end it was up to around 95% risk of miscarrying.
I had to argue with my fertility clinic to be put on metformin to stop the miscarriages, even though its proved to be safe to the developing baby etc, they were very behind the times and refused me it. I finally won my battle and the metfromin worked!
We were lucky to get pregnant the next cycle after our Christmas miscarriage. Its been a hard pregnancy, complications include low fluid issues, constant ultrasounds 8 so far, our baby is going to be born disabled with clubfeet which is inherited from my side of the family (luckily it is sortable betime she is 4 years old). We have also been told there are several gentic problems our baby may be born with, including downs syndrome, and another one which means the baby may not live very long when born. We decided against amniocentisis due to the slight miscarriage risk. Our baby is due in 7 days time, and only when she arrives will we know if she has the gentic problems as well as the club feet or just the club feet. Ive also had severe spd pelvic pain leaving me in a wheelchair and crutches, and constant morning sickness.
Anyways dont give up. After my 4th miscarriage last Christmas time, we were 100% going to stop ttc, but luckily we gave it one last go, and here we are now.
baby dust everyone. Will keep you all in my prayers as always. :)

I'm new here, this is my first post. Hello to everyone! I'm surprised, like most of you, I'm sure, to see so many people going through the same things. Well, here's my story:
~I'm 32, DH 35
~Married on June 3, 2006 (4 mos), together for 11 years
~I've always had irregular periods, unless I'm on the Pill. Been on the pill about 1/2 of the time since 18yrs old. When off of the pill, I am so irregular that I can have one period a month for 3 months in a row, then no period for 6 mos. Or 1 period, then 3 mos later a period, then a year later one or two periods.
~Been off the pill since 04/05- have had about 3 periods since
~Just used natural 'pull out method' whenever I'm not on the pill
~TTC seriously since 05/06
~But really hoping to get pregnant for about 5 years. I used to skip taking pills back when I was 27-28, hoping that I would turn up pregnant! Needless to say, I have never been pregnant a day in my life! (As far as I know.)
~My DH had chicken pox when he was 28< there is a chance for sterility when adult men contract chicken pox. :( He hasn't been checked out, but he is looking into it now.
~I had a Hysterosalpingogram (HSG) on Friday. The radiologist told me that I had a bicornuate uterus. This means that I have a higher chance to miscarry than most, that I probably will have to deliver by c-section and that I might not carry to term.
~Waiting to hear from my regular gyn on what the next step is. I imagine a round of Clomid, but I kinda want to try now for a month or two with no help.
This is all so overwhelming: the emotional roller coaster, the money spent on otc ovulation kits and pregnancy tests, not to mention the dr's apptiontments, and the impending meds that I'll soon be on, and dealing with those side effects! Uggh!! ~*~Oh, I almost forgot, my sister-in-law is pregnant, my best friend is pregnant and also one other friend of mine is pregnant. Great news, right? Why does this make it harder for me to deal with my infertility?
Thanks for reading my post, I'm trying to stay positive and realize that everything happens for a reason. I wish the best of luck to all of us on this journey!
Liz

What a great idea to post our stats! I posted most of this before, but here's a go at it...
It's neat to me how all our stories are different, and yet they have elements that are the same...
I was married at 19 and my dh and I planned to wait three years and then start our big family. When I was pg. just after our first anniversary, we were shocked (we had been using contraception) but pleased.
I miscarried in a few days.
I never expected to face any such a thing. When our mourning time was over, we couldn't bear to use contraception any more. So we thought, "next time, things will be better." I read all the pregnancy books and picked up baby stuff at yard sales and I thought we were ready. But no baby came.
After a year and two months, I went for my first fertility workup. I was diagnosed "unexplained infertility," and told to relax and let things happen. I kept going to different fertility specialists every couple of years, and tried all kinds of treatments, including laproscopies to remove endo with 6 months of lupron and six months of clomid and all kinds of things too numerous to mention, but had no luck.
Finally, after twelve years of trying to conceive, in 2004, I saw a Reproductive Endocrinologist, and our fertility problems were discovered. We needed IVF with ICSI--and our current insurance would pay for it!!! So we went for it.
and God blessed us with a beautiful little boy, and a few little frozen embabies. Our son is a delight! I hated all my struggle and pain of infertility at the time, but if I hadn't gone through it, I might never have had my son.
We went back to the RE to do a frozen embryo transfer, in Aug 2006. Strangely, I found that all the pain and fears and insecurity of infertility are still there. Even though I've had a happy pregnancy, I'm still terrified that... well, that somehow I just won't be able to do it...
We transefered a 2-cell and a 4-cell on day three (our little survivors) and we were given not much of a chance for either of them. But one made it. Our first BETA was too low to be positive, but it kept doubling, and we saw a heartbeat on the U/S on September 15. I thought that I could die from relief... After all we'd been through, I must have been saving all my emotion for that moment... The nurse had kept saying, "Well, we'll go with it." I never want to hear that phrase again!
The thing I have learned is that infertility changes you in some ways. It makes you stronger to face things that you feel you cannot bear. It makes you appreciate the gift of life in every little one. And if your marriage and health can survive infertility, it can survive anything!!
I guess that's enough of my story!
Thanks for the opportunity to share! Sorry it's so long...

This is a great idea.
me 41 dh 37
TTC 5 years 6 months.
Saw OB/GYN Aug'02 (6 mth waiting list) diagnosed unexplained infertility.
my hsg clear,blood tests normal,ovulating,cycles 28 days regular.FSH 5.6
dh SA normal.
IUI Jan - April '03. 3 attempts BFN
IUI May- Dec '03 on clomid, 3 attempts BFN.
Saw RE Sept '04 (8 month waiting list)
Nov '05 IVF First cycle.6 eggs,1 fertilized,1 embryo transferred. Result BFN
Feb '06 IVF 2nd cycle. Cancelled days before EC due to mistreatment by Dr as I was injured during a scan.No AF for 8 weeks.
Saw another RE June '06. Diagnosed MF IF,dh SA poor motility, morphology and count. My blood tests normal, ovulating, cycles 24 days regular.FSH 7.2.
Oct'06. IVF/ICSI 3rd cycle, only one good follicle. no egg found at EC so cycle stopped. RE suggests short drug protocol next time, latest SA showed vastly improved sperm quality, which I attribute to him taking the herb pycnogenal for 3 months.
I am currently taking a break from IF treatments to recover my spirits and hope that maybe old fashioned bd gets a result.
Good luck to all the wonderful ladies on this board and hope for more BFP posts soon for inspiration.

Hi, I am pretty new to this. My DH haven't actually had a chance to TTC, he was in a work accident and so for him to have a child using the so called "normal" way is out of the question. So we started seeing an RE for myself, all of my tests turned out good except now we are trying to get my follicles to grow and they just won't. We have had one IUI and I was on clomid and the biggest they got was 12. Now I am on Bravelle, Repronex and Anatagon. I will have my 7th US for this cycle tomorrow, as of Monday they were only at an 8, so I am a little stressed out. But I have to say you ladies are amazing. I was reading of few of your posts and you guys are SO SUPPORTIVE to others, , you guys are amazing!! Baby dust to you all!!

Hi All,
I've been lurking on this board for a while and I guess now is as good a time as any to come out of hiding:
Me: 36
DH: 34
TTC 3 1/2 years
Stopped BCP March 2003
Consulted RE: March 2006
Diagnosis: unexplained infertility
HSG: April 2006, all clear
One IUI with Clomid: May/June 2006, result: chemical pregnancy
Two IUIs with Follistim: June/July 2006, result: BFN, July/August 2006, result BFN with huge post-ovulatory cysts, resulted in taking September "off"
started first IVF cycle last week- ER/ET tentatively scheduled for early November.
So many of you ladies on here have really inspired me to stay positive during the tough times with my treatment cycles. Even though I haven't been brave enough to post until now, I just want to thank you all for sharing your stories and for exhibiting so much strength in the face of all this.
Thanks,
CMJ

Me-31 DH-36
TTC-8 years (with a doctor)
Dx: Endo and PCOS
Hx: m/c Nov 95
Countless # of cycles with clomid
LAP 2000 Found severe Endo (didn't tell me stage)
5 IUIs with Clomid BFN
1 IUIs Clomid/Repronex BFN
3 IUIs Repronex or Gonal F BFN
1 IVF Gonal F (only one embie survived to transfer) BFN
After 8 years of ttc with a doctor I had to take a break. I have not been doing ANY tx for about 3 years. I have actually been on bcp to try and get my endo pain under control. I am scheduled for a LAP Nov 15th and I think dh and I are going to give this another shot naturally. I am looking at taking Vitex (which I have read works well for people with PCOS) and I'm hoping that lap will clear up tubes. Here we go again!
Wishing everyone the best of luck and LOTS of BFP!!!! I honestly don't think anything I have ever been through is as emotionally draining as IF. Its so nice to have someplace to go where everybody knows what you are going through.

WOW...great idea!
TTC 2 years, married 2 years
Began seeing RE in March 2006, after trying naturally for about a year and a half.
Had Sonahistogram and HSG...both were ok, no blockages! Initial Blood Work revealed possible Premature Ovarian Failure. This was fortunately NOT what was wrong, but I do have trouble ovulating naturally. DH's lil' fellas are great...thank goodness no problems there!
Began 1st Cycle of Clomid in April 2006. Was TERRIBLE...very moody! Continued Clomid for 4 Cycles total with no BFP. Sometimes we used an HCG Trigger and sometimes we did not. RE thinks that Clomid made a "hostile environment" for DH's little swimmers. I thinkin' that isn't a good thing....so...
Began first cycle of Follistim w/ HCG trigger and Progesterone in July 2006. Not too many emotional side-effects...but no BFP! I had a lot of health issues...Bronchitis, Ear Infection, UTI, and Yeast Infection...all in one month! UGH!!! Obviously, I wasn't surprised when the BFN came!
Second cycle same meds...Unfortunately, I ovulated prematurely, despite U/S and bloodwork every other day!!! Got a BFN!
Third Cycle was October... Because of early ovulation previous cycle, RE added Ganarelix to my regime. Had a beautiful cycle..3 little follies! Unfortunately, luck wasn't with us...no BFP!
Currently on Fourth Cycle...Not responding great to meds this time! RE added Repronex to the regime! Hopefully all of these freakin' shots will work this time!
And the saga contiunes............

That was my last test before starting Clomid, or seeing what the next step is if my tubes are blocked.

ME-22 /DH-23
TTC since 7/05
My periods were always very irregular, and I'd go months without one. I thought maybe I had a thyroid problem as it runs in my family and I had classic symptoms, so I saw my OB-GYN and was diagnosed with hypothyroidism. They put me on 75mcg of Levothyroxine and still didn't get pregnant.
I made an appt with an RE in July of 06 and had several tests ran:
DH SA: good count, good motility, slightly low morphology
HSG: left tube appears blocked (but possible spasm) right side is clear
Blood work revealed possible PCOS (high androgen levels) - put me on dexamethasone to lower androgen levels
1st cycle: Clomid 50mg and dexamethasone - did not respond at all
2nd cycle: Clomid 150 mg, dexamethasone, HCG, IUI - BFN
3rd cycle: Clomid 150 mg for 7 days (cd 4-10), dexamethasone, HCG, IUI - currently waiting for a BFP.... I go in for a test 12/26, but I will do HPT before that.
Good luck to everyone ttc!!!

I've always had irregular periods since 12 yrs old. Always extremely athletic and thin growing up, drs always send that that happens when you are athletic. 6/2004 - IUI with Gonal-F/trigger - BFN
2/2005 - IUI with Gonal-F/trigger/donor sperm - BFN
3/2005 - Grand mal seizure due to OHSS and Phenergan use
7/2005 - IUI with Follistim/trigger/donor sperm - BFP
8/2005 - Poor HCG doubling, presumptive miscarriage, numbers jumped out of the blue, possible twin pregnancy and one absorbed.
Had a beautiful, but very preemie baby in feb 2006 with numerous medical problems. He is now great, a little behind, but catching up.
DH and I were both morbidly obese, lost lots of weight, I suppose it made some difference in the whole scheme of things. I never had normal periods until I lost almost 100 pounds (got down to about 230).
Weight loss never really made a difference in DH numbers.
We won't try again for awhile, but no BCP for us, what happens, happens.
I wish all of the future mommies and daddies good luck.

This is a great idea!
Me: 28 DH: 28
Married 5 years
DD born April 2003, conceived while on BCP, great preg, 40hr labor.
I went to OB/GYN in Aug because I was having some cramps between periods and we had just started ttc. Prog 8.0, PCOS, varicose veins throughout abdomen, collapsed pelvic floor (whatever all that means). Dr recommended diet/exercise.
Nov 06 prog level 5.7
ttc naturally since Aug 06 BFN
Started Clomid 50mg Dec 06. Severe cramps (maybe cyst bursting?), nausea, and heavy bleeding. Feeling better now. Ready to BD and hoping for BFP!
Spreading around the baby dust to everyone!

TTC: 6 years come January
DH: SAs all above average, blood work all normal.
RE: Started seeing an ob/gyn in 2004 for recurrent miscarriages and painful periods.
First ultrasound found multiple ovarian cysts. Some which have ruptured over time.
Hysteroscopy, laparoscopy, partial d&c and uterus biopsy done October 2004, showed a severe uterus infection.
Uterus biopsy done January 2005, uterus infection gone.
Stopped getting pregnant, then HSG "supposed" to be done January 2006, was done November 2006, long wait! All clear.
Blood tests all in normal range every time.
Next appointment December 18th to talk over HSG results and Clomid.

Married:9 years
I do have one child from a another marriage. Back in 2000 I went to a ob/gyn. I had HSG in 2000 they said left tube was fine ,but right tube had adhesions (scar tissue) and could not be repaired. I felt like I needed to change doctors went to another ob/gyn and he did a post coital test and said all sperm were dead and I was allergic to sperm. My husband had sperm count was normal. I gave up in 2000 cause I was so upset about the news plus insurance ran out. Well in March 2006 I decided to go to a specialist he ruled out the post coital test. He did a LAP and told me I had adhesions all around tubes to where they could not function so he fixed it in JULY2006. I did Clomid for 3 moths bfn. In NOV.2006 I was on Clomid and had IUI w/HCG shot BFN. I have taken Dec. off. I am devastated. Insurance didnt pay for the IUI it was 800.00 . I go back to doc 12-26 I dont know what to do. I have heard that after lap the adhesions can come back that is my fear. I dont know if I would be wasting time doing IUIs when IVF might be more effective, maybe I will find out soon. GOOD LUCK TO ALL !!!!!

Good Morning~
I thought I would bump up the thread. I started the thread quite sometime ago, anyone new with story to share please post here. If you recently got a BFP, please update(edit) your story to put the happy ending with it. Jenndenn and Dee7, you just got your BFP's:blob_fire , I would like to see the struggles you overcame to get there, to see how you compare to me. And to give me some hope. I havn't gotten mine yet.
