Hi all,
I've spent some time here doing research on BA. I've been thinking about having BA for almost 10 years. After my consultation with my doctor, I have a few questions and want to get some input from some of you.

I'm 5'3, 103lbs, 32AA. small frame. pretty much flat-chested. I want a natural look. When my doctor asked me whether I want a B, small C, mid C or full C, I said full C without knowing how a full C looks like. He's a little shocked and didn't recommend that to me. Based on my frame and size, he said a small C (280cc) will be the max for me to look natural. Anything over will be too much and look fake. He also suggested a full B (240cc) but he's afraid I'll be disappointed and regret not going for 280cc. It'll be under the muscle through the aeriola.

I'm debating on whether to get 240cc or 280cc. What do you think? I seldom see any of you here did anything under 300cc. I don't want to make a few thousands dollars mistake or regret...not mentioning the pain and time...

I'll have the pre-op appt next week. Is there anything I should be prepared for? Also, I'm planning to have the surgery on a Monday. Then I'll take 5 days off and resume work on the following Monday. I do office work only. So I assume I should have enough time to recover and get back to work, right?

thanks a lot. I learnt a lot here. And I'll definitely share my experiences throughout the whole process. :)

You do want to make sure you go big enough................BUT...........not too big! So many women end up going back in to get bigger implants. You are very small though, and i would take your PS advise..........a small C sounds good. You do want them to be natural looking. I got implants.............and my breast size was an A.............i chose to go to a B............ended up going back in to be a C..................and now i am a D/DD. I had 3 surgeries........but i also had a lift in there too. Choosing what size you want is the HARDEST part of breast implant surgery. Oh, if you have a desk job, you should be fine to go back to work by Friday. If you have a lifting......very active type job, i recommend you take 10-14 days off work. Good Luck!

thanks a lot. your response is very comforting and helpful. I'm leaning towards 280cc. I still don't have much idea on how a small C or full C look like. I guess I'll really make that decision during the pre-op appointment. For the first few days of recovery, will I be doing okay just by myself? my husband is planning to take the first day off and maybe the second day as well.

You should be fine as long as you dont have any complications. Really this is a fairly easy surgery. There are several things the PS can do to help you decide how big you want to go. First of all his recomendation counts, cuz they measure your chest wall.............and then give you an idea on size..........it still is your decision though. Some do a rice test.............where you can use bags of rice and put them inside a bra. For me......my PS had me go to a specialty bra shop where he has his patients buy the "ugly after surgery bra" the lady there put different size implants inside bra's for me. Then i put my shirt on, and i could get an idea how big a C...............D...............DD cup size is. That was really helpful. The only discomfort i felt with this surgery is muscle aching..........and soreness. Your muscles have to adjust to the implant..............also they are very hard for awhile until they settle.............they will soften and feel/look like real breasts.:)

How long did it take you for them to get soften and look real? I'm very excited and look forward to the operation. According to my PS, he has no complication for all the surgery that he performed and he's a pretty well known doctor in Beverly Hills. I guess I'm in good hands. :)

You will see your breasts change drastically over a 6 month period! They soften within a month or 2. I couldnt fit into a "normal" bra for about 3 months. I wore a sports bra..............which was comfortable. Sounds like you are in good hands............i have heard all the BEST plastic surgeons are in Beverly Hills! Course i watch Dr 90210!
