View Full Version : Saw & heard the heartbeat!!!

Well, we are 6w5d and after the scare on Friday of a little blood and cramps, we saw the heartbeat today!!:blob_fire :blob_fire :blob_fire Beating at 118 beats a minute, and flickering so beautifully!! I then asked when we would be able to hear it and the nurse said, "well, let's see.." and then...music to my ears. ;) It was perhaps the most amazing thing I have witnessed so far in my life!

I hope you don't mind me posting here. It seems that the little triumphs are more celebrated here, (than on the pg board:rolleyes:). Here, we all know the struggles just to get this far. Thank you!;) I hope I can continue to awe and inspire (myself as well as others) as time goes on!

Krissi,
Of course we don't mind you posting here! I am so happy for you -- I just knew everything was going to be OK -- It just had to. What a wonderful and amazing moment to see and hear the heartbeat -- kind of surreal, huh? Just wait till your 20 wk sono!!! Congratulations and love and blessings to you, DH and your little bean! :D

Congrats, Krissi! I know what a relief it is to see the hb flickering. And amazing! I loved hearing it on the doppler, too, during OB visit.

That is so wonderful!!!!! What an amazing thing to experience, especially after the scare you had. You and your little one were in my thoughts every minute of the day. Thank you for sharing your experience with us, we are a "family" and we all support one another through this infertility journey...that means every step forward, every step backwards, every fall, and most importantly every triumph!!!!!! Best of luck

You guys are the best!:D What would I do without you? I will definitely continue to post then.

It really does mean alot to me. I do feel like we are a family. And, not having my mom around to talk to and share my triumphs is very hard for me. So, coming here and then getting replies helps me in ways I can't explain. Thank you!

And yes, suesy, we did get pictures.;)

Oh that's great! I felt the same way when I had my 7-week scan. I had to have another scan last week because I had some bleeding (which was really scary) but there are still two little cuties in there. I am looking forward to my 12-week scan next week.
