Tripp had a grandmal seizure lasted about a min or two...over it quickly and now watching TV....ANYWAY, This is what I wanted to know IF any of you notice that your skin gets really hot. Tripp's was red and it was hot to touch??? He does not have fever...just hot to touch skin...his ears were even red.
He had several SPS yesterday and today slept late had a couple of SPS at nap(usually does as he is drifting off) I forget to give him his afternoon pill until 3 :00 the GMS happened at 4:20

I've had that when the CPS seem to trigger autonomic disorder stuff (have even had one hot arm, and one cold one)....face usually gets hot, but I feel like I'm cold (this is usually a few minutes before I end up asleep). The metabolic rate is knocked up a few notches with seizures, so makes sense. Or, is he maybe coming down with a cold? DId it last long? If it seemed to be over with the seizure, I'd bet on metabolic increase.

It was over as soon as the seizure was. ODD...I am not sure I have ever noticed that before. He got sick tonight and threw up...this happened about 5 hours after the seizure.

I've heard of other people who throw up after seizures. Not sure what the relationship is, unless the whole brain is still recovering, and the vomiting center is triggered by the seizures.
