Hi ladies,
Thanks for all the prayers and encouraging words last night. I went in for my ER today at 8:30 am. I had a nice sleep:dizzy: and my doctor told me he retrieved 16 eggs and they looked good and mature. So we were very pleased with this. I just hope and pray that they will fertilize and do well. I joked with my DH and told him before he did his duty to give some good stuff not any duds-lol;) ;) We are doing ICSI- my doctor recommended this due to decreased motility after 24 hrs. with the swim up test. So we figured with all we are having to pay anyway, not that money is no object but---what's another 1,600 if it will increase our chances.
The procedure went quite well, I was more concerned about the anesthesia than pain because I get sick very easy. So I requested some Zofran to help with this. It is great for nausea and does not make you sleepy. ( I had to take the zofran pill once a day when I was pregnant with my little girl). I did not have morning sickness I had morning, noon, and night sickness:p . I had some cramping and pain right after but not unbearable. I took some extra strenght tylenol and they gave me a heating pack which was wonderful. I am not bragging I just wanted to let those know that are getting ready for ER that not everyone has a rough experience. So, they will call me tomorrow hopefully with good news that many if not all have fertilized. And as of now I am scheduled to go back in for ET on Friday 9-1-06. I start the progesterone inj. tomorrow night and we are also going to discuss me taking the heparin shots and baby aspirin when I go in friday for ET. I had to be on both of these with my first pregancy due to positive anticardiolypin antibodies and some other blood test they did on me as well. He did not want me on either of these before the ER for potential of bleeding. So, keep me in your prayers and I will keep you all posted. Baby Dust to all of you wonderful ladies:angel: . Take Care:wave:
