Hi all ... glad to be here. Hope you can help.
I have several skin tags, moles and dry sppots on my legs, stomach and back.
I'm 58, have had a heart attack and a quint B-P.
I have a thin, 1/2" skin tag on my left inner thigh. Is there any way to get rid of it short of the DR's. Seems to me that a sharp scissor, some styptic, a little antiseptc and the proper bandage should do the trick. It's getting irritated by rubbing agqainst my pants.
What about mole or callus remover?
Any ideas?

I've had friends who've removed skin tags via disinfectant and nail clippers so you could do it that way, just be careful, moles on the other hand i had to have one removed via dr's, they sorta use a hole puncher thing of some sort i dont know what its called, and all i used on my callus' was a pumice stone - normally used ont he bottom of your feet, eventually over a bit of time the callus would disappear unless you do a line of work that keeps them there.

I'd be careful if I did it myself, that is a sure fire way to get an infection. Even if you think you have sterilized all your "instruments", they might not be as clean as you think. I think going to the Dr. would be your best bet. I had a skin tag removed from my ear at the Dr.'s office and it took about 15 min.
Good luck!
