Hi ladies, just wanted to update and get some advice. My af came about 4-5 days early, I had spotting for about 4 days before, really thought it was implantation spotting but af came lot of heavy bleeding and clots. I was out of town on business when af came so can't do another cycle this month. Should I tell my doc, is there anything I can do to increase chances of pg with a natural cycle? Is it possible I was pg and just had early failure? Is there any way to know this. Anyway, here is to everyone this month, praying for bfp's this month for all!! Just a story to pass along. A friend of a friend had a baby by ivf after years of ttc naturally, doc found out her body was rejecting the implanted embryo so they fixed that and she was able to carry and have a baby. She had frozen 3 eggs to try again with in a year or so. well about 2 months after having her baby she started having morning sickness and now has another baby!!! Turns out she got pregers and didn't even know it until week 14! Now she has two babies and 3 frozen embies!
All things are possible.

I'm so sorry that the result wasn't what you (and we!) had hoped for! Did you get a beta before your AF came? I think that's probably the only way you'd know for sure if there was an initial fertilization. (My 1st IUI was a chemical pregnancy, which my betas showed -- the first was a low positive result and the second showed my beta even lower). And I would certainly call your RE about any advice that he/she would have about increasing your chances on a natural cycle -- You have nothing to lose and everything to gain by getting his/her advice. Thanks, I was not able to have any bloodwork as I was half way across the country and working when a/f came! I called nurse today and they said to just call when my next a/f comes!

Marie, I am very sorry to hear your IUI was not successful. Try to keep your chin up. My thoughts are with you. Lots of baby thoughts and dust coming your way for your next time around.
