My Iron levels are at normal range also but they didnt do an Iron test or a ferratin test> This will show the amount of iron in the bloos which usually can be seen in the HMG and Crit but the ferratin level is the Iron stores in the Liver so I am severly anemic but my blood counts are normal its my ferratins that are so low normal ferratin range is 150 and up my ferratin level is a 1 so Ask your Doc to do a Ferratin Check.
Hope you get this one figured out

I would get your ferritin checked. You might have low iron, but your not anemic. When I has iron deficeny anemia my mcv was low and my rdw was high and my ferritin was 5.I been on iron for a year and even though my mcv and rdw are back to normal my ferritin is only at 30 so I am still considered iron deficent and not anemic.I am so low on energy and hair loss.So get the ferritin checked.Good luck
