Hey everyone...
So I have had anxiety for about a year and a half now. About 9 months ago it seemed to get better and practically go away. But this last week I have been getting some of my old symptoms and they are scaring me. (i'm taking zoloft to help out). I'm getting that really spacy feeling..like your looking at something but arent really registering it in your head, i always feel tired, those random negative thoughts are popping up in my head..any one ever get these symptoms? any one ever conqured anxiety but still had bad days? or bad weeks? I think im under stress..and I'm on my period...could that have anything to do with it? I'm only 18. please let me know what you all think!! thanks

I am in the process of conquering it.
I find what really helps is to 'exteriorise.' All that means is just sort of LIFT YOURSELF out of the state you are in, it takes practice, but it can be done.
In fact, I'm sure thats how you beat it last time.
Don't let it scare you. It can't hurt you.
Accept it, feel it, then simply lift yourself above it and ride it out.
Its sort of like ignoring it, but not forcing yourself to, cause that will make it worse. Just sort of accept it and then lift out.
Hope that helps.:p

I have conquered it. The key is to try and be positive. My anxiety has come back this August and shows no sign of letting up. Since you've conquered it once before, you can definately do it again. Stress is most likely what is causing yours. Stress triggered mine. Even when I conquered it, some bad days still occurred, but I was able to put them out of my mind quickly because I had a positive attitude. I hope everyone on here learns to conquer their anxiety, and I hope I learn to conquer my new episode as well. :p Good luck and feel better. Just listen to what sponsoredbynobody has been saying, he's usually right on target :)

I am 20 and have 2 children. During pregnancy and periods, I had anxiety way worse. Hormones do have a big part. I was anxiety free for almost a year, and it started acting up this week. It is normal to have seemingly random bad days. Try to think that you will have good days soon. Good Luck.

Hang in there... as you can see you are not alone. And it does get better. We have our good days and bad days. I have been anxiety free for almost 9 months now. Take care of yourself the best that you can. Hope your feeling better!

Hormones play a huge part in my anxiety. About 2 weeks before my period is due (around the time of ovulation) my anxiety hits me. Then it is pretty bad until the my period is gone and then I start to feel better, just to have it come back in a couple weeks. I'm in that 2-week time before my period right now and I'm a nervous wreck. I hate feeling this way!!! :( Hang in there! You'll get through it!
