Hey,

I am about 99% certain I have genital herpes, first of all I had a urethra tract infection, and I have red sores on top of my penis and shaft, and the sorts look very similar to the ones I've seen on the net....anyway only been experiencing these symptoms after a risky encounter with this girl. Have a post on the STD forum about that....but lets to the point.

I was researching into the virus not sure what strain I have but I have to wait until monday to get the clinic and find out. Anyway everywhere I have read there says there is no cure...I read one article about a possible cure for women but the results weren't that good. Anway I come across this company called IMULUX who say they have developed a cure, is this just a con?

At the moment I am freaking out, angry this girl won't return my call and thinking about spending $289.78 for a possible cure?? Any thoughts??

someone didn't read the small print about posting details of other websites. Oh well if you wanna check it out just google "IMULUX"

I really need this question answered. Some sources say the virus remains in certain nerve cells of your body for life and the center for disease control say that 91% of people clear the virus within 2 years. Who do I believe? :dizzy:

And one more thing has anyone tried the IMULUX cure?

People may become asymptomatic after 2 years but that doesn't mean that you don't have herpes anymore...to date, there is no cure for herpes. I wouldn't waste my money on something claiming to cure herpes...if there was a cure, we would all know about it believe you me!!!!!!!!

I agree with Keepsgoin. I wouldn't waste my money either and I would do as suggested above as well and that would be to bring the info. to your own Dr. or STD specialist you might have or know of in your area...they'd be able to shed some light on this for you. When unsure or looking for concrete answers, the best thing to do is consult a professional, someone with the knowledge and expertise who can provide you with the answers you seek.

That's my two cents! :D

MM-

I hate to be the bearer of bad news, but unfortunately there is no cure for herpes.

Most of these companies that you see advertising their "miraculous hepres cure" are not regulated by the FDA because the ingredients in their "miracle cure" are all natural and don't require FDA approval to be put on the market. It's like drinking green tea. It's natural. Or taking gingko baloba.

These companies are catering to the depressed, and taking advantage of the millions of people everywhere that have herpes that would like to find a cure.

If you do decide to waste your money (which I wouldn't) and you take it and think you're cured, you're taking a big risk because most likely you'll wind up passing herpes onto someone else thinking you don't have it anymore. You can go years with no symptoms, then have one outbreak, and never have one again. That does not mean you don't have it. The virus remains in the nerve cells at the base of the spine, where they sit until you have an outbreak.

My doctor told me one of his patients had been married for 20 years and all of a sudden had an outbreak. His wife accused him of cheating, he accused her of cheating. Fact of the matter was neither one of them cheated, but he had it from over 20 years ago.

Final opinion on all these miracle cures. They most likely don't work.

I don't know, I'm open to anything when my health and my life are concerned. I had the worst primary infeciton you could imagine, and 4 months later I still hadn't had 1 second of relief. The OBs overlapped continually and I finally tried oral hydrogen peroxide therapy and topical DMSO at the same time (I wrote alot about it here in the past, I will try and resurrect a thread or 2 about it). Right around the 6 week mark, my OBs cleared up and now, 4 years later, I haven't had not one mark on me since. Sure the virus burns out naturally, but I burned out a particularly nasty case in 5, maybe 6 months flat - from the time of infection.

The medical establishment tried to get me on drugs that cost $400 a month, and only worked as long as you took them every day. I paid roughly $100 total for a natural treatment that was over in 6 weeks.

I would say anything that seems too good to be true and ridiculously priced is probably a scam. Hydrogen peroxide therapy is real and you can get it in any good healthfood store, so do some research! lol.
