Can someone please explain bi-poloar to me? i really don't understand the disorder. dh was reacently diagnosed with depression. she has other problems as well and i am starting to wonder if this could be one of them.

There are absolutely tons of information on the internet about bipolar disorder, here is the .gov site place for starters since those are the ones we can give here on the boards. You can put bipolar disorder in any search engine and come up with lots more!:

There are alot of situations that come up when your spouse, friend, child, co-worker are bipolar. That's where we come in especially handy as opposed to just information alone!

It is truly wonderful that you are working at learning everything you can about this disease - it will help your loved one deal with their disease more than you know if you are as knowledgable as you can be.

oh dear i just realized i put dh as the one that was diagnosed.. lol it was my daughter.
