from what I've read I think I'm bi-polar, but I don't know anyone who is so I don't know if I'm just having mood swings or if I'm really bi-polar. I'm only a teenager and admittedly all of my medical accomodations have been handled by my parents up until now, but I want to speak with a doctor without having to go through my parents (if that's possible). should I set up an appointment at my local clinic, or do I need to seek a specialist? and if I need a specialist, how would I find one?

Usually if you tell your doctor you believe or have a feeling that you have a mental illness - bi polar, then they will usually do / ask for a full test.
I wish there was an accurate one online - if so does anyone know where it is?
