Hi everybody,

I haven't been here in a while but things are starting to improve for me. I found a new psychiatrist that I really like, and my meds seem to be kicking in. Currently I am on:

Synthroid 88 mcg (have autoimmune thyroid disease also)
Lamictal 100 mg 2x a day
Lexapro 20 mg
Zyprexa 7.5 mg for sleep (and wow does it work!!!!)

I've been on my full doses for about 5 weeks now and my mood has certainly improved, but I'm still having some mild-to-moderate depression. I would say I'm about 70 to 80% of "normal" (i.e., the person I was before BP).

My question is, should I be concerned about this lingering depression? Should I ask my doc for more Lex or Lamictal? I read somewhere that anything over 20 mg of Lex is just overkill and won't help your depression. Or should I just chill and wait several more weeks because the meds just haven't come to their full effect yet?

I'd appreciate hearing anybody else's experiences and advice. Sorry I'm so long-winded!

Thanks,
wobbly
