View Full Version : Pls Help! Q's for Pariel (or anyone) abt Org. Lithium Orotate:

I have been on a name brand Lithium Orotate for 2 weeks now, and am wondering if I am taking it correctly. Some things I have read seem like they're saying to take 1-3 tablets once a day with a meal. Other things sound as if 1-3 are taken 3 times a day with meals. What is working well for you? Did you have any problems or unexplained health problems when you started taking yours? About how long was it before you noticed feeling improvement? Some folks say a few days and some say a month or two. I wondered how it can possibly take effect in only days, as most herbal or natural things usually need to build up in the system to work. (The same with many simulated medications.)
Any help or comments would be great. I am very ill for several days now, and wonder if it is just a virus I picked up or if it could be side effects of getting on the Lithium...although it is NOT supposed to have ANY side effects.
THX,

Hi I am not taking lithium orotate but based on years of taking plenty of other stuff it useually takes at least 2 weeks to take effect.

The virus is proberbly a red herring but if not better in a couple of days see your doctor, Plenty of info on Litium orotate if you type in Serenity

HI Redflame~
HOw are you doing these days? I am one of the many folks that were concerned about you not long ago, and so relieved to hear you'd finally found a good doctor!

I am to the point where you were about finding any good doctors, as we are out here in the middle of nowhere. So I am trying the Lithium on my own hook, so to speak.

I found out that what I was concerned were side effects was either that I had a virus that is going around that causes neck stiffness and headaches, or my hubby & I had the West Nile Virus. The doc says not to worry unless we get the fever too...not much they can do unless it gets bad I guess. So either we only have a mild (tough, but mild ;o) version of it or just the flu.

You sound better than you did at one point...are you feeling like you are getting better on your new meds?
Hope so!

THX for the input~It is so appreciated!!

Hugs to you & family from USA,
AZ/OK Jo
