Dear friends, I want to transition from gym rat of 'feeling' like I must work out at the gym and doing classes about everyday----to a 'French way' like the book. I would love start taking more walks and yoga--mainly relax my attitude and NOT gain weight. I am 5'7'' female 128 lbs. fit...but would rather slim and not gain. Any proven meals and new fitness ideas would be loved!!! tell me a good lifestyle please.
What I did was also a mind set thing that it has to become a lifestyle change. Really get excited about trying different foods and walking in new places you haven't been before and really take in everything around you. I personally have the homemade yogurt for breakfast in the morning with a piece of whole wheat toast and a piece of fruit. Eat it slowly to enjoy it. My lunches are mostly bowl of soup, piece of fresh french bread, piece if cheese (a good size like 1 and a half ounces) and a piece of fruit. Dinner is some form of protein and a couple of veggies and a piece of cheese and fruit and a glass of red wine if I want it. I do include yoga as well seeing as I just had a baby I am a bit more agressive on the exercise end because I have a bit more toning to do and I have to admit I do love a good run now and again but for the most part just adding more walking to your daily life will be just as good. You are small to begin with so just relax and go easy you will notice a change and will feel great. Fresh food is what is important.L et us know how you do.
