View Full Version : Is milk urine a sign for kidney stone?

I have been having lower back sore for quite sometime on my left. My first morning urine often looks milky. Is this an early sign of kidney stone? I have taken a urine test and the result does not show any negative sign because my urine is clear when I took the test. Is there any kidney health self-test kit that I can buy on the market to test it my self in the morning?

Thanks.

No, thats not a sign of a kidney stone. I have that sometimes too. If you've ever had a catheter inserted you see all that white stuff in the urine? I've been told by a home health nurse that is normal.

No, there are no kits on the market to tell you whether you have a kidney stone or not.

What a good idea though. I wish I could just check myself instead of going through the hassle of seeing my urologist everytime I think I am passing one. I buy those AZO UTI test kids and actually one time I felt like I had a UTI and it came out positive so my doctor gave me antibiotics and I passed a stone a few days later. But I think that UTI's and stone go hand in hand.
