For a few weeks now I've felt like there's something stuck to the back of my throat. Almost like a popcorn kernel or whatever. Well it irritated me so much I ended up trying to pick it out, and I found some sort of white solid, I don't even know how to describe it. I figured it was just food or something I had stuck in my throat, but now it keeps coming back every few days. It's pretty much stuck right in my tonsil, only the left one though. It's not really swollen (that I know of) and it's not painful, just irritating because I can feel it and even if I get a piece of it out it's back within a few days. I don't know what it is or what could be causing it...any ideas?

Check into the description and symptoms of tonsil stones. With the limited symptoms you have discribed it is possible you may have the condition. It is not fatal just annoying. Tonsillitus is normally associated with infected/oozing tonsils and a fever.

An genreal practitioner or ENT would be the best to contact with your problems.

Sincerely,
MG
