I have this growth on the inside of my nose. It's at the end of my nose on the inside. If you know it's there you can see it. I have no idea what it is but it's been there for 20 years. It has not grown but I want to have it removed some day soon. I was wondering if ENT doctors are board certified plastic surgeons also. I would not trust anyone but a board certified plastic surgeon to remove it since it's in a spot where it they screwed it up it could really mess up the way I look.

Kari7171, ENTs are not always Board Certified Plastic Surgeons. Mine happened to be both - American Board of Otolaryngology (Head and Neck Surgery) and American Board of Facial Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery. You have to ask your doctor what certifications they have. I think most ENTs are because they don't make any money off the ENT surgeries but make BIG bucks of the plastic surgery kind of stuff (all that non-insurance reimburseable stuff). Hope that helps.

OK so at least I know an ENT can be a board certified plastic surgeon. I will definately be checking whoever I go to up and down and backwards and forwards to make sure they are.
