I am very frightend. I have had 2 weird dreams. The first, on my second night of WD's and the second last night. They are so real its unbelievable. Am I dreaming that I am awake or am I really awake? Both "dreams" place me in my bedroom and it feels like its really happening at the time.
I had the worst headache last night that still lingers this morning.
I want the wd's over, but thier not....

The physical aspect of withdrawal is tough but can be controlled. The mind is complex and is the harder part of withdrawal. I went through what you are feeling and yes, the dreams can be so real you wake up not knowing if nit was real or not. For me the dreams were hard and heavy at first and tapered off until now they are very occasional. One thing that worked for me was to set my alarm to wake me every 2 hours. I don't know why it helped and surely would not be Dr. approved but as I said the mind is complex and sometimes you need to trick it.

I also experienced vivid dreams during my w/d's. I'd swear they were real. Some were cool, very good dreams, while others were a nightmarish hell! Oh well, better than experiencing nothing while sleeping. I found that they went away pretty quickly, within about a week.

Good luck, Thiswasyourlife, I hope you get a full nights, comfortable sleep!

I have to take requip and elavil for my restless leg, so I think they konk me out so I don't have any nightmares or dreams. Although I think I had one really nice one the other night. When I first started taking Norco's that put me in a nightmare hell. I hope they go away soon for you. Sometimes they can be so frightening, the worst are when you wake up crying. I have had quite a few of those.

I have always been a dreamer even while drunk. I dream more when there is a full moon too. I heard someone say in a meeting the other day that there was a full moon. Who knows. I have been dreaming lots the last few nights, and thankfully no nightmares. Granted, all of the dreams havent been rainbows and ice cream, but nothing compared to the 2 dreams I had while detoxing. Yikes!
