I had my tubes tied almost 3 years ago and ever since then, my periods have been heavy. At times I hate to leave the house. When I stand, I can feel it gushing out. SORRY TO MUCH INFO!!! But for about 3 or 4 months now, right before I start, I get this pulling/stretching feeling in my lower stomach. I had the same feeling when I was pregnant. That's how I knew I was pregnant both times. NO WAY possible am I pregnant now!!! Also when I'm using the restroom, I have the urge to push like you get when you are having a baby. Again, there is no way possible I'm pregnant. Any ideas or anybody experience anything like this before? Somebody told me, I might have cyst. That's what she felt and went to the doctor and that was her problem.

Hi,

I've had the urge too push during my period and usually pass large clots when this happen. I've had this for over one year now and haven't had any major problems. But because your periods are heavy and your concerned, I would speak to your doctor. I wish I could help you more but don't worry. :)

Or you could possibly have a fibroid. Whatever it is, you really should go see a doctor. Excessive bleeding isn't good and you should find out what's causing it so you can get it treated.

Good luck to you.

That's interesting, I get that feeling mostly everytime I need to urinate. I have had an irritated urethra for a while (Still trying to figure out why, doctor tested for urethritis but found none) and whenever its really irritated I feel the need to push when i urinate.

OK that was my rant lol.
But I agree go see your doctor because excessive bleeding is not good.
