Hi im 19 years old and am taking the contraceptive pill. I have had to take 4 packs in a row due to varying circumstances however halfway through the latest (4th) pack my period has come on. It seems like a normal period but seems strange that it would happen now. Is it related to the amount of packs taken in a row? Or is this abnormal and needs checking up? Also should i still keep taking the pill and finish the pack?
many thanks

Pardon me, but are you asking this for a female friend? I only ask this because it says you are male.

Hey,

You got nothing to worry about. You are bleeding because you haven't bleed in your cycle yet and it's normal to bleed. You taking 4 rows of pills won't do your body any good this is also why you might be bleeding. I have been on the contraceptive pill but i came off it as it didn't do me any good and my periods were bad.

You need to tell your doctor about this or don't take your pills till your normal period comes (thats what i did). But ALWAYS remeber to take backup protection such as condoms and morning after pill as unexpected pregnancies to happen. Good luck xx
