Going straight to the point: can you catch Genital HSV2 through oral sex from a woman? Considering the partner has Genital HSV2 as well ?

Well this is what happened in my situation: My BF gave me genital herpes and now he is getting these hideous huge cold sores on his face shortly after I had my first real OB. So it is possible, how else can we explain him now getting these huge cold sores on his face when he never used to get but an occasional small cold sore on his lip...like one every few years or so and now it's one every few months:dizzy: So don't assume you can't spread it to other parts of your body just because you have it genitally because you can spread it although it's supposed to be rare but just ask my BF if it's rare...HA!:rolleyes: OH and BTW, I have yet to ever in my life have a cold sore on my lips or face!

So your BF had HSV2 down there, he passed it on to you through intercourse, and now you believe he caught it back from you in his face from doing oral?

That's pretty much the jist of it.
