i had a question, i was sitting here thinking about past health issues. i have had abnormal paps since i was 15, but i never thought about it as being anything, then i started getting bad cramps, eh... theyll feel like nothin with some motrin, at 19 i had a large cyst appere on a overy, but still really thought nothing of it... i had a biopsy at 21 for a bad pap, and they just told me i had to watch it, but i didnt... i ignored it, till the cramping got so much worse... to go in have a predictable ab-pap, and go another colp, and biopsy, and find out i had stage 1 cervix cancer... i admit i need to have the cone, but i was told they are not sure how much cancer is there, i wish i would have takin the abnormalitys and got checked sooner. i have to say i will keep track of things better, but heres a question, if you forgot to mention somthing like a cyst to the doctor, or do you just keep it to yourself? i didnt think anything really of the cyst till my mother in law asked if i had ever had any groths or anything as a sign this was coming, i mentioned it, and she said i needed to tell the doc stuff li9ke that, they would still have to do the same prosedure on the 13th right?

I'm not totally sure what your question is, but an ovarian cyst is completely unrelated to cervical cancer. Nonetheless, I guess it's something you should mention to your doctor just so they know.

It's always best to let your doctors know all of your past health information. It may not have an affect on your current situation but you can never be too sure.

I agree with timber and tealdreams. Best to let your doctor know, but it is likely unrelated. *If* you required a hysterectomy, then it would be really important for the doc to know so he/she could check out your ovaries while doing the surgery. Fingers crossed that the cone gets it all
