Hey,
I just started on the pill again after stopping for one year.
I finished my period last week and this week i have been brown spotting :confused: i have been told that its cause my body is adjusting to the birth control pills? Is this something i should freak about??
I started the pill again cause 1. protecting myself 2. i was iregular with my montly.
Please help! I know im not pregnant cause i tested that just before my period.......

:wave: hi dont stress the brown spotting is just old blood sometimes after a period not all the blood escapes and you get spotting of a brownish color it is very common in users of the pill. however if u get any burning or pain i would see a dr otherwise dont stress:angel:

Spotting in the first half of your cycle could mean you need a pill with higher estrogen. Spotting in the second half could mean you need a pill with more progestin. But if you just started on the pill, you probably just need a couple of months to adjust.
