:confused: i am 29 yrs old have 5 sons my husband had a vasectomy 6 months ago but never went and had his post vasectomy tests done, i am now 2 and a half weeks over due for period, have had swelling of hands and feet, heartburn and mild sore breast, all of which can be premenstrual, but my cervix is low soft and tightly closed normally hard when low. does anyone no what that means and does anyone no if its possible to be pregnant 6 mths after vasectomy. i am very concerned:angel:

I'm also a bit confused... Did you mean to say that your husband never had the post tests done to check for sperm count? I have seen cases of men holding their sperm count for as long as 9 months after the procedure so it is entirely possible that he could still be virile... If you are normally regular with your cycle, I would start off with a simple pregnancy test to see... If negative, try again in a couple of weeks... If still negative and you still have not gotten your period, see a doctor as it could be an infection or something more serious...

thanx very much for your reply, i have been trying to get him to do the test but he believes there is no need to do it, perhaps this might change his mind, and i will do a test if i still have no period next week:wave:
