I applied for an interest free credit card and paid that way. The card was interest free for 1 year, after that 1 year was up I applied for another interest free card and did a balance transfer for zero percent interest. I made the cards work for me instead of the other way around. It took a total of 1 1/2 years to pay off but save me a lot in interest fees.
If you have a good credit score, these offers aren't hard to find and it really doesn't take much time to apply.

I did the interest free CC as well and it encouraged me to pay it off before the year was up..............great way to do it without costing extra for interest........some you have to put on on CC then transfer for a no interest balance.

There is Care Credit who does this for all kinds of medical procedures. They sometimes offer a one year interest free plan. Make minimum payments for one year, at the end of that time pay in full, and no interest is due.
