My mother is 73yrs old. She had a hystorectomy 6 years ago and has undergone several chemo drugs such as carbo/taxol, doxil, gemzar, topotecan, ifex/mesna, taxotere. Now her tumors in abdomen/on her rib cage side are still lingering (as per PET Scan results). Her doctor started her on Etoposide pills. Has anyone had any success with this drug. I have been battling this monster alongside with my mom for past 6 years and I don't know if it is coming to an end. Any replies would be appreciated.
