So, I went in after 6 months of being diagnosed with mild/low grade and I still have low grade. My doctor wants to discuss either waiting for another 6 moths for a pap, a colpo, or a leep. What does everyone here recommend?

Sorry to hear it is still showing up - very frustrating for you, I'm sure. As I mentioned in a previous post, there are guidelines for management of cytological abnormalities out there. I can't help you really with your decision, it is one that only you can make. Go with your gut feeling (if that helps any). Be informed about your options and choose the one that you feel most comfortable with.

This is also my second time I got diognosed with Low grade. I have another colpo/biopsy scheduled for the 11th. I have never had a LEEP so I cannot discuss that option. I always worry too much so I always get a colpo. for piece of mind. Last year my doctor decided to do a colpo/ biopsy. Lickily the results were okay. This time I am going in for another biopsy. The best thing for you to do is discuss with your doctor which would be the best diognosis. I'm not sure how young you are, but from the meterial I've read, most low grades will go away on it's own. I am young too(24), but like I said, I worry wayyyyy too much! Many people have taken the wait and see approach. It's up to you! I will keep you in my thoughts...:angel:

I'd probably just get another colpo and hold off on the LEEP until a year had passed. If I were still abnormal at that point I'd get treated.
