View Full Version : Weird Eye 'Problem'

Well, whenever I am inside (bored for the most part) I seem to think my eyes vision seems worse and it seems like I am more sensitive to light than what I once was. The light sensitivity never makes me leave a room or have to close my eyes it just seems like it is a little more 'bright' than what it once was.

Now when I am outside or with friends I never notice any problem with my vision. The light from the sun I suppose seems a little brighter but that could be due to 2 monthes of isolation in my house due to anxiety.

I'm only a teen and my eye sight has always been good (no glasses or contacts) and I seemed to notice these 'problems' once my anxiety attacks had started. Do you think it is just the anxiety or mgiht it be something more serious. It just seems weird to me inside it seems like I have a problem but when outside I seem to have no problem.

Thanks for any help.

Hi there. I suffer with anxiety as well. I have noticed that when I am feeling even a tad bit anxious, my eyesight seems worse. I am constantly thinking that I have something wrong in my brain and that is what is causing me to go blind slowly. :dizzy: I ended up going to my eye doctor and my eyesight has not changed at all in the past year. I think it is just anxiety that makes us think our vision seems worse. But, it never hurts to go get your eyes checked. It might make you feel better, mentally.
