Hi there everyone
my baby is almost 15 months old and a very healthy bright baby boy.
Just within the last couple of days though I have
noticed something and I am not sure whether I need to
take him to the doctor for it, orjust let this
run it's course.
When he breathes, his chest is wheezing. I can hear it.
I felt his chest, and I can also feel the wheezing.
he coughs every now and then (not hardly much) and is still very happy personality and full of energy.
Just wondering if this could be pneumonia or bronchilitus????? or coudl it just be a simple cold. its just that I am not sure about the wheezing. My niece who is 3 months old, has a mild case of bronchilittus, but my baby hasn't been around her.
Any insights appreciated? or what health tips to stop the wheezing? he seems to start wheezing mostly in the night time.
Thanks in Advance!

I would get him checked out soon. Just to be on the safe side, wheezing usually means there is something going on, maybe just even allergies.

Did he already have his 15 month WBV? If not I'd mention it then.

My daughter had been wheezing and we took her to the er and she had bronch and her left lung was clouded. She had to be put on breathing treatments and sterroids. The nurse told me it is not "normal" so I would def take your baby to the the doc. Just to be on the safe side and peace of mind if for nothing else.
