About two weeks ago, I had fat transferred under both eyes to fill in depressions arising from lower eye blepharoplasty. Now that the swelling is gone, small lumps have appeared where the injections were made. Is this temporary do you think, or did I get bad work done? If it is bad, what are my options at this point?

Niptuckguy:

I never saw a reply to your posting, how are your eyes now? I'm considering the same procedure and the possibility of lumpiness is exactly what I'm worried about. Curious as to how your eyes are looking now.

If you are still concerned with the lumpiness you might try looking up Frank Meronk. He does actual fat grafts instead of fat injections, partly because of the risk of the lumpiness. Perhaps he can do something to fix the lumpiness?

So now the doctors want to refill it. i was under the impression this proceedure would last longer than 2 years. also i wonder if i redo my eyes will it lump again. where is this doctor Frank Meronk located?

Since my posting in which I mentioned Dr. Frank Merok I've since learned of some very negative comments about him. If you look at his website he seems to be very impressive, he claims that he has done fat transfer for over 20 years (or however long it was), etc. However, I decided to do some more research on this guy and boy did I dig up some negative stuff!

I haven't yet decided on the fat transfer for my eyes. I do have very hollow eyes and I always look tired, but the idea of messing with my eyes still scares me as they are such a focal point of your face.
