Just looking for someone to share the time of pain it takes to get back to 'normal' after lithotripsy........been 5 days thus far

I was sore in my flank for two days. Maybe you should call your urologist and let them know.

Just wanted to let you know that I feel your pain. I had lithotripsy on May
31st...........had severe pain, and finally after about 30 days, and 3 ct scans.
the radioligist noticed that i had a huge hematoma (like a blood blister) on my kidney. Unfortunately there is nothing they can do until the blood is gone.
It has been 4 months now, and I still have the STENT (which is the most horrible thing in life) and my uroligist has finally decided that we will do surgery in the next couple of weeks.
If I was you, I would ask for a CT and make sure that your kidney was not damaged at all. Stay persistent with your urologist, and make him believe that you are in pain.
