Hi, I have just found this forum.
I am 49 and going through some horrible symptoms, I have an appointment with my GP at 2 pm if I can get out of my dressing gown and have a shower.
Wish me luck folks.

Hi Hope & Pray,
Know were you are. Went to my Gyno after 8 months of symptoms. Starting to feel better. Thought I was losing my mind. Atleast here we can all lose it together.
Let us know how you are doing this afternoon.

Many thanks ladies,
Dr was very good, seeems Im in the full throw, so starting HRT tomorrow, clobetasone butyrate ointment????
Dont know really what to expect, but it surely can't be worse than I am feeling just now.
I have known for a while that I have been on a downwards slope, but just couldnt be bothered to climb back up. When the bleeding got too much then I decided I have to see about this, and I honestly thought I would have to fight for what I wanted.
Now, I just want to feel alive again.

I can not believe the change (scuse the pun) within 3 days, whatever these tablets are doing they should be selling them in clubs.
I spent the whole day OUT of bed yesterday
Did some housework, went out and, are you ready for this. I SMILED. I even had the energy to argue with my OH. ;)
Hows that for progress. :)
I certainly did not expect any changes so soon, but hey, if it works, dont knock it.

What exactly are you taking, Hope&Pray? What kind of HRT is it? I'll be starting estrogens (Enjuvia) next Tuesday and don't know what to expect. Your input is greatly appreciated.

It's good to hear that you've found relief from these symptoms. What HRT are you using? I looked up clobetasone butyrate ointment and it's used for skin ailments. Thanks for the information.

Hi Girls,
Ok I shouldnt read whats on a prescription:rolleyes:
What Im using is Elleste Duet tabs. (not what it said on the prescription).
I do wish all the ladies on the forum the very best of luck with their chosen method of dealing with this HELL:blob_fire
What I cant believe (but Im not knocking) is how quickly it has subdued my symptoms. But the proof of the pudding will be to see if I still have those terrible 8 day periods every 2 weeks, so fingers and legs crossed.:)
I also had great hope in this product, so that may go someway to helping psychologically.
Good luck to everyone.
